Stylish Living: Sweet Auburn Curb Market

One question that I receive most often is, “Where are you from?”  Well, honey, I am a true Southern grown, down-home Georgia peach, born in Decatur, GA and raised just thirty minutes outside of the city.  Even as a native ATLien, I still enjoy perusing Atlanta.  There is so much to do and see here.  Whether you’re single, dating, married, and/or with child, there is fun to be had by E V E R Y O N E!

I was invited to the Atlanta Creatives Meetup this past weekend, hosted by @melaningirlmovement and @blackbloggersunited, at Just Add Honey Tea Company, located in the Sweet Auburn Curb Market.  Who knew this gem existed in the Edgewood neighborhood?  Just Add Honey has a plethora of loose leaf teas and tea brewing accessories.  If you are a tea connoisseur like myself, then this is just the place for you!  I purchased the Georgia Peaches black tea blend and the Calm Cleanse blend.  Just imagine, you can create your own “teatox” at a fraction of the price of some of the more popular versions floating around on social media.

Remember when I discussed a lesson in minimalism?  Well, I’m still in a minimalist mood, and I knew that I wanted to remain comfortable at this networking event.  So, I opted for a jumpsuit that I’ve had in my closet for a couple of years now and a SUPER cute pair of pom-pom embellished sandals that I purchased just this week for less than $30!  I’m obsessed with this pom-pom sandals trend, and I don’t think my obsession is going to dwindle any time soon!  I also lucked up on this red, structured mini handbag and bought it in two other colors…for a grand total less than $60!  This ensemble is p e r f e c t for the fashionista who appreciates simplicity without sacrificing style.
