Did you all catch Rihanna’s Gucci crystal-embellished bodysuit at Coachella 2K17 this past weekend? Her caption on Instagram reads, “I can’t go home yet, cuz enough people ain’t seen my outfit.” Our sentiments exactly, Rih Rih. Festival season is upon us, and if you spent your weekend rigorously scrolling through your social media feeds and having your edges completely snatched by all of the slay-age that was taking place, then you know that the likes of Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Jhene Aiko, and Solange Knowles showed up and showed out for Coachella 2K17, as we’d expect them to.
Here in Atlanta, residents are preparing for the Inman Park Festival, which is just next weekend, and eagerly awaiting the Sweet Auburn SpringFest next month. So, naturally, I decided to create four festival-inspired looks that are appropriate for any budget and any style. Take a look at these boho chic picks below:
Dark & Lovely
This festival-inspired look says, “Come hither.” The sheer lace kimono jacket almost reminds me of lingerie and is definitely on trend (see for yourself here). It’s perfect for the babe whose attitude speaks sexy and sultry and who wants to be easy going while simultaneously making a statement.
Sweet & Sassy
This is a classic boho chic look that just about anyone can wear! It’s a versatile look, which can be worn for several occasions, and it gives off a retro, vintage vibe that meets contemporary sass. *insert Farrah Fawcett hair flip*
Pretty & Punk
I created this look for my tomboy chic babes. Get into the festival season while remaining comfortable in a cropped graphic tee, a khaki mini skirt, and a classic pair of monochrome Chuck Taylor sneakers.
Classy & Chic
Do I have any girly babes out there? Perhaps you can’t quite get into the quirky, whimsical looks of this festival season, but you can still look just as stylish! This look is soft and feminine and plays up this season’s pastel hues. The featured blush mule heels from New Look make it easy for you to dance the night away!
